Thunder In The Valley
 Join Power 105 for the 14th ANNUAL "THUNDER IN THE VALLEY" FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR presented by the Nelsonville Fire Department. The event will be held on the 4th of July 2009, on the Hocking College Campus, located in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Vendors and special activities begin at 8 p.m. with the fireworks to follow at 10pm. The Fireworks are choreographed to music so be sure to bring your radio and tune into 105.5 FM to hear it. From the station that wishes you a Happy 4th of July!

Southern Copperheads Pool Party
The coolest pool party in the history of all pool parties took place Monday June 22nd at the Athens City pool.

at the Athens City South Side Park Miniature Golf Course. Located off Dairy Lane from Richland Avenue in Athens, Ohio.
Putt People First Minature Golf is brought to you by Havar Incorporated, a private non-profit corporation operating in both Athens and Washington Counties in Ohio.
All proceeds benefit people with Autism and other developmental disabilities. All donations are shared by two agencies to benefit Athens County Citizens.

Pooch Patrol
If you have found or lost a pet call the Power 105 office at 593-6651, report it, then listen every weekday at 2:20pm. Also, if you have lost a dog, please check with the Athens County Dog Shelter as it may be there. The shelter is also an adoption center. There are many wonderful dogs available for adoption, maybe one that is perfect for you! They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00 to 5:00, Wednesday 10:00 to 7:00, Saturday 10:00 to 1:00, Closed Sunday (hours may be subject to change)
