A FREEZE WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING FOR ATHENS, MEIGS, MORGAN, PERRY AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES….
* TEMPERATURES…LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S.
* IMPACTS…SENSITIVE YOUNG SPRING PLANTS AND BLOSSOMING FRUIT TREES COULD BE KILLED IF NOT PROTECTED.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…A FREEZE WATCH MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS COULD KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

KIDFEST 2013

This Saturday, April 20th is the 24th annual Athens County Children Services KIDFEST!

 The Columbus Blue Jackets, Cooking Caravan, The Athens Irish Dancers and The Mark Wood Fun show are  just a few of the exciting performers who will be joining in the fun.

 The event will take place at the Ohio University Convo starting at 10am until 2pm. The 1st 100 kids get in free!

 Robin Barnes will be broadcasting live from 11 to 1 with the Jambulance. Tickets available at the door for $3.00 kids, 2 and under are free.

 Sponsored by Athens County Children Services and in part by the radio station that is still a kid at heart… Power 105.
