Hocking County Woman Accused Of Injecting Daughters With Heroin

Hocking County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Dave Valkenburg says 35-year-old  Shantel Parker of Laurelville allegedly injected  her 14-and-16-year-old daughters yesterday before sending them to school.

And he says investigators believe Parker has been giving the girls heroin and other drugs for several months.

Deputies executed a search warrant on her State Route 180 home yesterday and seized evidence, but the chief deputy isn’t saying what they found.

Parker is currently charges with two counts of Felonious Assault, two counts of Corrupting Another with Drugs and two counts of Endangering Children.

Warrants for her arrest have been issued, but Valkenburg says she may have fled the area.

He says the U-S Marshal’s Fugitive Apprehension Team has been asked to help find her.

Anyone with information on Parker’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office at (740) 385-2131.
