A Cincinnati man is facing felony drug charges after state troopers seized nearly a thousand Ecstasy tablets during a traffic stop in northwest Ohio.
Troopers stopped a 2012 Dodge Caliber for a traffic violation early Saturday on Interstate 75 in Hancock County. The state patrol says the troopers observed criminal indicators and were given fake I-D by the driver.
The patrol says the 39-year-old driver, Marcus Coleman, was also found to have outstanding felony warrants for Trafficking in Marijuana and Money Laundering.
An administrative inventory of the vehicle revealed ten bags, containing 17-thousand dollars worth of Ecstasy in the center console.
Coleman is jailed on a charge of possession of Ecstasy. If convicted, he could face up to ten years in prison and up to a 20-thousand dollar fine.
