In Spring Training action yesterday, the Cincinnati Reds fell to Oakland, 10-9. Reds ace Johnny Cueto struggled, throwing 1 2/3 innings, giving up five runs on five hits with two walks. Todd Frazier and Derrick Robinson tallied homers for the Reds in the game. Cincinnati will now take on the LA Dodgers today at 4.
The Columbus Blue Jackets return to the ice tonight as they battle the Calgary Flames at Nationwide Arena. The Jackets come into the game just two points behind eighth place in the Western Conference and will look to continue and 11-game streak of points in a game. The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with quarterback Josh Johnson on what is expected to be a two-year deal. Johnson was with the Niners to start the season last year and finished with the Browns where he saw limited action in one game. In five season, Johnson has five starts.

In area high school basketball action last night, Ironton fell to Ottawa-Glandorf in a Division 3 State Semifinal in overtime, 62-61 and Warren fell to Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary in a Division 2 State Semifinal, 70-51.
