The Cincinnati Bengals fell in overtime to the Miami Dolphins last night, 22-20. The Bengals were on the board first with a field goal early in the second, but the Dolphins responded with 10 points to finish the half and lead by a touchdown. The Dolphins scored another touchdown on a Brent Grimes 94-yard touchdown on an interception early in the second half. Cincinnati cut the lead to seven late in the third on a Giovani Bernard three-yard touchdown run and tied it on a 35-yard run from Bernard in the fourth. Mike Nugent drilled a 54-yard field goal with a minute to go, but Miami drove down the field and Caleb Sturgis tied it on a field goal with seconds left. After a couple of drives stalled, the Bengals were pinned down deep in their own territory and Cameron Wake came up big sacking Andy Dalton in the endzone for a safety to win it. The Bengals will now head to Baltimore next Sunday. The game can be heard on 970 WATH with pre game at 11:30 and kick at 1.
The Cleveland Indians made a pair of moves just a day after the MLB season ended yesterday, releasing closer Chris Perez and re-signing veteran slugger Jason Giambi. In 54 games, Perez went 5-3 with a 4.33 ERA and 25 saves in 30 attempts but struggled mightily down the stretch and dealt with a mid-season arrest. Giambi hit just .183, but had nine homers and 31 RBIs including a few clutch homers.
In NBA action last night, the LA Clippers toppled Golden State, 126-115 and Chicago ousted the New York Knicks, 82-81. Cleveland hits the hardwood tonight as they travel to Charlotte at 7.
The Athens County Game of the Week returns to Power 105 and 970 WATH tonight as Athens welcomes Nelsonville-York for a county rivalry in the final week of the regular season. The Bulldogs are looking for their second undefeated season in three years and their third straight TVC-Ohio crown. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes would love to knock off Athens and spoil the perfect season and outright title for the Bulldogs. The rivalry matchup can be heard on Power 105 and 970 WATH tonight with pre game at 7:15 and kick at 7:30.

In NHL play yesterday, Phoenix outlasted Nashville, 5-4 in a shootout. The New York Rangers blanked Buffalo, 2-0 and Boston snuck past Anaheim, 3-2 in a shootout.
