Ohio football returns to action today as they host UMass for senior day at Peden Stadium. The Bobcats have been struggling of late and will look to make it a winning season today with a victory over the Minutemen. Ohio and UMass battle on Power 105 today with pre game coverage starting at 12:30 with the Bobcat Insider and the kick at 2. Also, Ohio basketball hits the hardwood tomorrow afternoon hosting Evansville. The game can be head on Power 105 with pre game at 1:30 and the tip at 2.
In NCAA basketball top 25 play yesterday, #2 Kansas bested Wake Forest, 87-78. #5 Oklahoma State outlasted Purdue, 97-87. #19 UCLA toppled Nevada, 105-84. #20 Creighton blew past Arizona State, 88-60. #21 Memphis handled Siena, 87-60. #23 Iowa snuck past Xavier, 77-74 in overtime and #25 Marquette bested Cal State Fullerton, 86-66.
The Columbus Blue Jackets return to action tonight as they battle the Edmonton Oilers. The Jackets inconsistent season continued on Wednesday with a 4-0 loss to Nashville and Columbus fell to Edmonton last week, 7-0. The Jackets have alternated wins and losses for six games. Columbus and Edmonton can be heard on 970 WATH tonight with pre game at 6:45 and drop of the puck at 7.
In NFL Thanksgiving Day action last night, Detroit dominated Green Bay, 40-10. Dallas ousted Oakland, 31-24 and Baltimore edged Pittsburgh, 22-20.
The Trimble Tomcats are one win away from a trip to Canton and the state title game. On Saturday night, the Tomcats battle Berlin Center Western Reserve in the state semifinals at St. Clairsville High School. The Tomcats and Blue Devils both feature very strong defenses in what should be yet another slugfest in Division 7. The game can be heard on Power 105 with pre game at 6:45 and kick at 7.
